University prepares Aswan To launch the activities of the first agricultural exhibition during the period from March 30 to April 1, 2026, at the headquarters of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, on the Sahara University campus, in a step that reflects the university’s orientation towards supporting sustainable agricultural development and enhancing its applied and research role in South Upper Egypt.

Providing an integrated platform to showcase the latest technologies

The exhibition is being held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Loay Saad El-Din Nosrat, Acting President of Aswan University, with the participation of an elite group of academics, experts, and pioneers in the agricultural sector, and in cooperation with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Directorate of Agriculture in Aswan, the Chemical Industries Company, KEMA Aswan, the Egyptian Future Agency, and the Syndicate of General Agricultural Professions, and in coordination with the relevant authorities, ensuring the provision of an integrated platform for displaying the latest agricultural technologies and research and linking them to market needs.

The university is keen to strengthen partnerships with productive institutions

Dr. Louay Saad El-Din Nosrat, Acting President of the University, confirmed that the exhibition represents an applied scientific platform to display the outcomes of scientific research and link them to actual development, noting the university’s keenness to strengthen partnerships with productive institutions and national companies to support the state’s efforts in achieving food security and sustainable development.

Nusrat added that cooperation with Kima as a strategic sponsor reflects a successful model of integration between the university and the industrial sector, which contributes to serving society and developing Upper Egypt.

The organizing committee called on companies, farmers, researchers and students to actively participate in attendance, stressing that the exhibition aims to open new horizons for cooperation and support linking scientific research with practical application in the agricultural sector.
40 exhibitors from leading companies in the fields of agricultural industries, production, agricultural marketing, import and export will also participate in the exhibition.
