Today, Tuesday, Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Qalyubia, held the weekly public meeting in the city of Shubra Al-Kheima, targeting the citizens of the cities of Shubra Al-Kheima, Al-Qanater Al-Khairiya, and Qalyoub. The meeting witnessed rapid responses and decisive directions in several service and humanitarian files.

During the meeting, he responded Governor Immediately to the request of a citizen seeking to provide job opportunities for him and his son, coordination was made directly with one of the private sector companies to provide the required job opportunities. Attiya also directed that a job opportunity be provided to a young man with special needs within the private sector, in confirmation of the governorate’s policy of supporting social integration and providing decent livelihoods.
In the housing file, the governor was tasked with transferring the file of those affected by the apartments of the Al-Zohour, Al-Ray and Asco housing units in the East Shubra Al-Kheima neighborhood to the governorate’s legal advisor to study the best ways to solve the problem, whether through ownership of the apartments for the affected people or reducing the value of the rent owed to them.
In a humanitarian gesture, the governor contacted the director of health insurance in Qalyubia to complete the necessary procedures for issuing a health insurance card to a young man holding an integrated services card, to facilitate his access to treatment and health care.
The meeting also discussed regulating means of transportation, as a citizen applied for a tuktuk license. The governor explained that the license is not currently available, indicating the possibility of replacing it with a safer alternative vehicle for passengers, while launching initiatives to facilitate ownership of these vehicles in installments.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Iman Rayan, Deputy Governor, Engineer Jihan Masoud, Secretary-General, and Major General Mohamed Moawad, Assistant Secretary-General, along with the heads of the cities of Shubra Al-Kheima and the East and West neighborhoods, and the heads of the cities of Qanater Al-Khayriyah and Qalyoub, to ensure the immediate implementation of the governor’s directives.
