Ministry agencies thwarted InteriorA woman attempted to bring a large quantity of cigarettes and electronic shisha of “unknown origin” through one of the companies owned by her, inside 10 containers coming from one of the countries via one of the sea ports, and their documentary content is “used generators.”

After codifying the procedures and in coordination between the concerned authorities, the containers were seized, and the inspection work resulted in the discovery of (9,334 cigarette cartons – 154 electronic shisha cartons) of unknown origin.
Legal measures were taken regarding the seized items.
In a separate context, the security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a post circulated on a social media page that included a promotion for the sale of electric shocks.
Through examination, it was possible to identify and arrest the person in charge of managing the aforementioned page, a worker and resident of Menoufia Governorate, who was in possession of (2 electric detonators and 4 batteries for detonators). When confronted, he admitted that he had obtained them from (an unemployed person residing in Dakahlia Governorate). He was arrested and in possession of (17 detonators – 31 chargers for detonators), and when confronted, he admitted to committing the incident as referred to.
Legal measures were taken, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
