The security services at the Ministry of Interior have taken legal measures against a number of tourist companies without a license, as part of the security services’ efforts to combat crime, control violations related to tourism security, and tighten control over companies operating in the field of tourism without a license, in anticipation of those in charge of these companies defrauding citizens under the pretext of organizing Hajj and Umrah trips and tourism programs.
The owners of 20 fake companies were arrested
Information and investigations from the “Public Security – Tourism and Antiquities Police” sectors confirmed the fraud and fraud (20 companies without a license) located within a number of governorates, against citizens and seizing sums of money from them under the pretext of organizing various tourism and religious programs for them and misleading them into believing that they are licensed tourism companies “unlike the truth,” and promoting their activity through social networking sites or publishing classified ads.
After the procedures were legalized, they were targeted, and those in charge of their management were arrested, and they were in possession of cash receipt books, passports, Umrah programs, seals, stamps, and a set of propaganda and advertisement papers, and legal measures were taken.
