Nasser Abbas, the arbitration expert, confirmed that there were no penalty kicks for El Gouna Club against Al-Ahly Club in the match that brought them together yesterday evening, Thursday, in the Egyptian Premier League Championship.
He said on his personal page on the social networking site Facebook: The first game, the 11th minute, El-Shenawy appeared on the player, fixed his hand and did not make an additional movement to obstruct the El-Gouna player who was able to play the ball, and therefore there was no penalty kick and the referee’s decision was successful.
He added: “In the 28th minute, there were calls for a penalty kick for Ali Dieng, and if it was awarded, it would have been incorrect because the ball hit the player’s chest and not his hand.”
He went on to say: “In the third game, when Yasser Ibrahim goes up on a cross, it is natural for the player to get down on his hands and play the ball normally, and here also there is no penalty kick.”
The arbitration expert concluded his speech by praising the decisions of the match referee and that he did not resort to Al-Far because he understood the situations well and there was not a single penalty kick for El-Gouna against Al-Ahly.
