US President Donald Trump said that an immediate 50% tariff will be imposed on all goods sold to the United States of America from any country that supplies Iran with military weapons.
Trump threatens Iran again
Trump added, during a post on his account on the Truth Social platform, that his decision will be implemented as of its date, stressing that there will be no exceptions or exemptions.
Donald Trump announced that the United States would work closely with Iran, pointing to what he described as a very productive change in its regime.
He explained that his country would not allow uranium enrichment, pointing to joint cooperation with Iran to extract and remove what he called deeply buried nuclear dust, stressing that these sites are subject to careful monitoring via satellite.
He added that negotiations between the two sides are continuing, and include discussing easing customs duties and sanctions, noting that a number of items have already been agreed upon, without revealing their details.
