Today, Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary – Director of the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Qalyubia, led a surprise inspection campaign that included the center and city of Banha, the center and city of Toukh, and one of the refrigerators within the village of Mashtohar affiliated with the center of Toukh, in addition to following up on the work of the Khanka campaign, within the framework of the plan of the Directorate of Supply in Qalyubia to intensify supervision of the markets and control the commodity trading system.

Participated in the campaign were: Walid Hassan, Director of the Internal Trade Department of the Directorate, Muhammad Abdel Baqi, Director of the Supply Control Department of the Directorate, and a number of inspectors of the concerned departments.

The campaign aimed to follow up on compliance with the legal controls regulating the movement of internal trade, and monitor any violating practices that threaten the rights of citizens or violate the rules of fair competition.

Dr. Tamer Salah Mukhtar stressed that the Directorate pays great attention to the issue of controlling markets and preventing price manipulation, stressing that the regulatory agencies will not tolerate any cases of commercial fraud, monopoly of goods, or harm to the consumer.

The Undersecretary added that the Qalyubia Supply Directorate is determined to implement the law decisively, and that protecting the citizen is a national obligation exercised by the state through its regulatory agencies. He also stressed the continued implementation of expanded campaigns in various cities and villages of the governorate to monitor any violations, seize non-conforming goods, and ensure safe circulation that preserves the health and safety of citizens.
