Nasser Hassan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Gharbia, held a meeting in the presence of Abdel Fattah Abdo, Director General of Public Education, Mohamed Hamouda, Director of the Security Department, Hussein Al-Jabali, General Director of the Arabic Language, and Ismail Al-Morsi, Director of the Primary Education Department in the Directorate, to discuss the mechanism for implementing the program for developing reading and writing skills for primary school students from the third to the sixth grade, with a total of 127,668 students.

Western education guidance

This came within the framework of implementing the directives of Muhammad Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Muti, Governor of Gharbia.

Urgent executive action

During the meeting, the program implementation plan and its mechanisms were reviewed, and how to follow up on work within the targeted schools during the implementation period. A workshop will be implemented today, at the Directorate’s Training Department, targeting first mentors and primary education directors in the ten educational departments, during which the pre-examination papers will be delivered, followed by the implementation of other workshops for the 532 applicants in the educational departments, in addition to explaining the work procedures in detail to ensure the efficient implementation of the program.

Gharbia Governorate News

The plan also includes carrying out a pre-test for all 225 targeted schools, over a period of five days starting tomorrow, in preparation for implementing the training program. The targeted primary schools were limited to educational departments, as follows: East Tanta Administration 30 schools, West Tanta 20 schools, East Mahalla 20 schools, West Mahalla 30 schools, Zefta 25 schools, Al-Santa 20 schools, Kafr El-Zayat 20 schools, Basyoun 20 schools, Qutour 20 schools, Samannoud has 20 schools, with a total of 127,000 and 668 students from the third to sixth grades of primary school.

Improving student services

The Undersecretary also stressed the importance of full commitment to implementation mechanisms, and following up on the progress of work within schools, to ensure the achievement of the objectives of the training program, and to improve the reading and writing skills of primary school students, as it is the basis of the educational process, upon which the success of all subsequent educational stages is built, wishing success and achieving the desired goal of the program.
