The Engineers Union elections have begun In AlexandriaA short while ago, at the headquarters of the Engineers Club in Saba Pasha, to choose the president of the union and 7 members of the union council.

Engineers flocked to the headquarters of the polling committees at the Engineers Club from the moment voting began, as two candidates competed for the seat of union president, while more than 18 others competed for 7 seats for membership in the union council, distributed among the engineering divisions.
The divisions are divided into 3 seats for the Mechanical Division, two seats for the Civil Division, one seat for the Electricity Division, and one seat for the Chemistry and Nuclear Division.
The voting process continues until 5 p.m., with all necessary organizational and administrative measures taken to ensure the smooth conduct of the electoral process in an atmosphere of transparency and discipline.
Engineer Salah Hamed, head of the Alexandria Elections Committee, confirmed that the committee has completed all logistical and organizational preparations to receive voters, stressing that the electoral process will be managed with complete impartiality and in accordance with the organization’s regulations, ensuring equal opportunities among all candidates and sound procedures.
He added that the committee calls on all members of the General Assembly who have the right to vote to participate positively, as it is a professional responsibility that reflects the awareness of engineers and their keenness to support the process of union work.
The union stressed that the elections represent an important milestone in the union’s work process, which contributes to strengthening the union’s role in serving its members and advancing the profession.
