In an official statement, the Spanish Football Federation stated that the friendly match against Egypt during the international break in March will take place on Tuesday, the 31st of the same month, at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona, ​​which is Espanyol Stadium.

This will be the first confrontation for the Spanish national team in Barcelona in 4 years, as the confrontation will be against Egypt in the home of Espanyol on Tuesday, March 31, in the last friendly match for the Matadors in the current camp, following the confrontation with Serbia at La Ceramica Stadium, home of Villarreal, on the 27 of the same month.

In the official statement, the Spanish Football Federation said: We will face Egypt, which ranked fourth in the last edition of the African Cup of Nations, and the most decorated team in this tournament, at Espanyol Stadium, which has a capacity of 38,529 spectators. It will be the last match led by Luis de la Fuente during the upcoming international break, and both of them are counted among their preparations for the next World Cup.
