Dr. Imad Zaki, the official spokesman for the President, confirmed Wafd Partythat relations with the Justice Party are based on mutual respect and appreciation, and that what was raised recently does not reflect the nature of this relationship.
The official spokesman explained, in a statement, that there was direct contact with the head of the delegation, in which MP Abdel Moneim Imam, head of the Justice Party, clarified the party’s position on what was published, stressing that the conversation between Al-Badawi and Imam came within the framework of a common concern to clarify the picture that there is no disagreement between the two parties, which reflects the spirit of political responsibility that unites them.

The official spokesman for the head of the delegation indicated that political communication with the Justice Party is not a spur of the moment, but rather extends since its founding in 2011, as relations between the two parties over the past years have witnessed effective communication, exchange of visits, and participation in many joint events between the leaders of the two parties, which reflects a great deal of understanding and consensus in visions on a number of national issues.
The official spokesman for the head of the delegation added that the party appreciates the experience of the Justice Party as a political experience that has a presence and influence in public life, stressing that differences in estimates or passing statements should not spoil extended relations, asking the various parties not to try to spoil this harmony.
Regarding the personal status file, he stressed that this file represents a very important societal issue, and therefore dealing with it must be based on considerations of the public interest, and in a way that opens the way for all serious efforts without concern for credit or priority.
The spokesman for the head of the delegation stressed that the Egyptian political arena is full of diverse cadres and experiences within the various parties, capable of contributing to the formulation of a balanced and fair law, and that integration between these efforts is the best way to achieve real results that serve society.
He stressed that the head of the delegation is keen for the next stage to witness coordination and cooperation between the two parties on a number of files of common interest.
