Ekramy, the former Egyptian national team and Al-Ahly club goalkeeper, confirmed that he was exposed to a second incident that broke his psychological back, as he faced a major crisis when Ramadan Sobhi, the husband of his daughter, Habiba, was imprisoned, and he was exposed to a major problem.

Ikrami said that he spent long days worrying and waiting, turning to God in prayer daily, asking not to expose him in front of people.

Ikrami explained that the crisis brought him back to the feelings of deep sadness he experienced after the death of his son Ahmed, where he felt helpless and disturbed, but his faith in God helped him be patient and seek reward, stressing that relief always comes from God alone.

He added that the moment of Ramadan’s release was a turning point, as the family received news of his release in letters from Sharif, the eldest son, which made his tears flow for the first time in front of his daughter, Habiba.

Ikrami pointed out that this crisis brought him back to his feelings of fatherhood, as he felt that Ramadan had become a part of his children, and considered him a source of compassion and love, stressing that the moment he embraced Ramadan was a moment of purification of all the pent-up pain in his heart.
