As part of monitoring the local currency market, the prices of the Emirati dirham within the various government banks, which include the National Bank of Egypt, the Bank of Egypt, the Cairo Bank, the Egyptian Arab Land Bank, the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, and the Industrial Development Bank, recorded the same levels at 13.02 pounds for purchase and 13.06 pounds for sale, in line with the supply and demand policies regulated by the pound floating system.
At the level of private and foreign banks, the price of the Emirati dirham stabilized at close levels, as Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank offered the price at 13.03 pounds for purchase and 13.07 pounds for sale, while the Commercial International Bank, the Bank of Alexandria, and the Suez Canal Bank recorded the same prices as government banks, at 13.02 pounds for purchase and 13.06 pounds for sale.
Exchange companies also witnessed similar stability in the price of the UAE dirham, which reached 13.02 pounds for purchase and 13.06 pounds for sale, which reflects a state of balance and liquidity in the Egyptian monetary market, with the Central Bank continuing to monitor exchange rates to ensure financial stability.
This stability in the price of the UAE dirham provides a suitable environment for investors and citizens to carry out transfers and trade exchange between Egypt and the UAE, without fears of sharp fluctuations in currency prices.
