Dr. Louay Saad El-Din Nusrat, Acting President of the University, conducted the study AswanAn inspection tour inside the university campus, to follow up on the university’s readiness to deal with the repercussions of the dust storms that Aswan Governorate recently witnessed, accompanied by Professor Khaled Asran, Secretary General of the University.

Ensure that they are provided with complete comfort and care

The tour included an inspection of the university cities to ensure the regularity of providing services to male and female students, and to ensure the availability of comfort and full care for them, in addition to following up on administrative security sites within the university campus, to ensure the safety of workers and the continued regularity of work in light of unstable weather conditions.

For his part, Dr. Loay Saad El-Din Nosrat stressed the keenness of the university administration to conduct continuous field follow-up of all university facilities, noting that the dust winds affected some facilities, including one of the plastic water tanks on the roofs of the university buildings on the campus in New Aswan, where its outer wall was torn, and the situation was dealt with immediately by closing the main supply valves and draining the accumulated water.

The university president explained that repair and maintenance work is being carried out urgently to rehabilitate the damaged water tank, and to ensure the continuity of water provision within the university campus, especially in emergency situations, stressing that the university is monitoring the situation around the clock, and is taking all necessary measures to maintain the safety of students and workers, while continuing to operate regularly, and activating the “online” study system for the second day in a row, in order to ensure the safety of students.
