Referred to a criminal court Sohag Two defendants submitted papers to His Eminence the Mufti of the Republic to obtain a legal opinion regarding their execution, accusing them of intentionally killing the husband of the second defendant with premeditation.

The referral order revealed that the first defendant was Hamada. M. N., 32 years old, worker, partnered with the second accused, Mervat. A. A, the victim’s wife, in the killing of the victim, Mahrous. n. M, during the month of April.
Investigations revealed that the wife lured the victim to a remote area next to the automated slaughterhouse in the village of Al-Ahaywa, east, while the first accused assaulted him with a white weapon, inflicting several stab wounds on him that killed him, after a prior agreement between them.
Investigations confirmed that the second accused incited the crime and provided information about the victim’s health condition to ensure that he did not resist, while the two accused confessed in detail to committing the incident before the investigating authorities.
The incident occurred when the security services received a report that the body of a man with several stab wounds had been found. The body was transferred to Akhmim Hospital, the necessary report was prepared, and the two accused were referred for criminal trial.
