Dr. Sahar Al-Sunbati inspected the center’s various departments and was informed of the level of services provided to children, which include comprehensive care programs, rehabilitation, and psychological and social support, in addition to medical care, which contributes to providing an integrated environment that helps raise children in a sound manner and enhances the opportunities for their integration into society.
The President of the Council praised the vital role played by the Vis Sponsorship Center in caring for children without family care, stressing that the sponsorship system represents one of the most important mechanisms that guarantees the child’s right to live within an alternative family environment that provides him with care, protection and stability, in light of the state’s trend towards shifting from institutional care to family care.
She also noted the remarkable development and increasing support witnessed by the sponsorship system in Egypt, which reflects the state’s interest in caring for this group and integrating them into society, stressing the importance of concerted efforts between the various concerned parties, governmental and non-governmental, to ensure the application of the highest standards of protection and care for children.
Dr. Sahar Al-Sunbati expressed her full support for the efforts made within the center, stressing the keenness to provide all necessary support to improve the quality of services provided.
