A study reveals habits that affect the health of the body

The most important habits that affect the health of the body are:

1- Neglecting strength exercises
Cardio exercises often get the most attention, but strength training becomes more important with age, and structural changes in the body may affect balance and independence, increasing the risk of falling, one of the most prominent health risks in older people.

Maintaining muscle strength and flexibility reduces this risk, and it does not necessarily require going to a gym; Light weights at home may be enough to start.

2. Constant attachment to the phone
Excessive use of smartphones and continuous scrolling on screens may exhaust health in ways whose dimensions are not yet fully clear. Excessive use of the phone may affect vision, impair concentration, fuel anxiety and depression, and harm personal and professional relationships.

To reduce the negative impact, you can turn off unnecessary notifications, apply the 20-20-20 rule to give rest to the eyes, or simply leave the phone in another room for a while.

3. Sitting for long periods
Prolonged sitting has a clear negative impact on health, as it contributes to weight gain, high blood pressure, and disturbed blood sugar levels, in addition to weakening muscles and flexibility.

But the good news is that simple movement makes a difference: frequent standing, short walks, or incorporating small activities during the day improve circulation and increase overall energy.
