Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, inspected the Boulaq Al-Dakrour Hospital project in Giza Governorate, and the Boulaq Abu El-Ela Hospital project in Cairo Governorate, as part of his series of field tours to follow up on implementation rates and raise efficiency in the health system.
Implementation of Boulak Dakrour Hospital with a 100% implementation rate.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the ministry’s official spokesman, explained that the minister began his tour at Boulak Dakrour Hospital, whose implementation rate reached 100%, with a capacity of 215 beds, including 101 inpatient beds, 86 intensive care beds, and 21 nurseries, in addition to 7 marrow transplant units, 22 outpatient clinics, 9 operating rooms, and 24 dialysis machines.
He pointed out that the Minister inspected the operations capsule equipped with the latest technologies, incubators, and child care. He also checked on the progress of work in the dialysis and physical therapy units on their first days of operation, especially the physical therapy unit that received the first case of a child starting his treatment program.
Abdel Ghaffar said that the minister completed his tour of the Boulak Abu El-Ela Hospital project, which has a capacity of 220 beds, including 145 inpatient beds, 55 intensive care beds, 20 nurseries, 9 operating rooms, 66 outpatient clinics, and 19 dialysis machines.
The Minister was accompanied on his tour by: Dr. Peter Wagih, Assistant Minister for Therapeutic Medicine Affairs, Dr. Sherif Mustafa, Assistant Minister for National Projects, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Hakim, Head of the Central Administration for Therapeutic Medicine, Dr. Mohamed Al-Sadfi, Head of the Central Administration for Urgent and Critical Care, Dr. Ishaq Jamil, Undersecretary of the Ministry in Giza, Dr. Samah Gad, Undersecretary of the Directorate of Health Affairs in Giza for Therapeutic Medicine Affairs, Dr. Mina Rahim, Director of the Technical Office of the Undersecretary, and Dr. Ahmed Naguib, Director of Boulaq Hospital.
