Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, honored the winners of the International Holy Quran Competition in its 32nd session, during the closing ceremony, which witnessed the participation of a number of ministers and senior religious and executive leaders.

The ceremony witnessed the participation and honoring of the Minister of Education, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, the Minister of Labor, Mohamed Gibran, the Minister of Electricity, Mohamed Esmat, the Mufti of the Republic, Dr. Nazir Ayyad, the Minister of Supply, Dr. Sherif Farouk, and a number of religious leaders, all of whom handed over prizes to the winners and honored a number of arbitrators.
The honoring was also attended by the governors of Cairo and Giza in appreciation of their support for the competition, in addition to honoring the sons of Sheikh Al-Shahat Anwar, in the presence of Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Shahat Anwar and Counselor Zein Al-Shahat, in a gesture that reflects the state’s appreciation for the symbols of recitation and its ancient schools, after naming the course after their father.
