An ordinary trip in search of a living turned into a painful human tragedy, after an accident hijacked Kafr Daoud Road in Sadat City in the governorate. Menoufia The dreams of a number of young people and their families, leaving behind unbearable pain and unfinished stories.
One family
One family stands that lost two of its children in one moment, while the father struggles with the pain of injury, after bidding farewell to his two sons who represented hope and the future, namely Muhammad Barakat Hamed Barakat, a third-year secondary school student, and his younger brother Hamed Barakat Hamed, a first-year secondary school student. They went out with their father in search of livelihood, before their bodies returned to their village, and the father was injured in the same accident, in a scene that embodies the cruelty of loss when it strikes the family all at once.
This was not the only story that the accident carried. Among the list of victims, Ali Sabri Hamed Abd Rabbo, who was supporting his family, also passed away, leaving behind heavy responsibilities and greater sorrows, while the tragedy extended to his nephew Farouk Hamed Saber Abd Rabbo, who was preparing to start a new life, after he tied the knot and was planning to complete his wedding soon, before his dreams suddenly ended on the road.
Inside the village of Tannoub, affiliated with the Tala Center, the scene was not normal, as sadness fell over everyone, and the streets of the village turned into an open mourning pavilion, after the funerals gathered, and tears of loss mixed with unfinished stories.
The people talked about young people who went out in the morning as usual, carrying simple dreams of work and stability, but they returned carried on their necks, in one of the harshest images of collective loss that is difficult for any society to overcome easily.
The Sadat accident was not just numbers of victims and injured, but rather painful human stories, summed up by a moment, and whose effects remain in the hearts of families that will never be forgotten.
