The countdown continues to the start of the journey of the Egyptian national team for juniors born in 2009 with the North African qualifiers for the African Junior Championship, which are the qualifiers in which the Egyptian national team begins its campaign next Friday against the Tunisia national team.

The Egyptian junior national team players underwent strong training this morning under the leadership of its technical director, Hussein Abdel Latif. The training witnessed a state of focus and extreme seriousness from the national team players in preparation for the awaited match against Tunisia.

The organizing committee of the North African Qualifiers Championship, which qualifies for the U-17 African Cup of Nations, held a technical and organizational meeting for the teams participating in the tournament.

From the Egyptian side, the meeting was attended by Dr. Walid Darwish, member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association and supervisor of the national team, and the duo Shadi Al-Sherif, administrative director, and Wagih Hassan, missions officer.

The meeting discussed the instructions for the tournament, before its start, the tournament program, information regarding the arbitration and organizational aspects, and everything related to the tournament.

The Egyptian junior national team is scheduled to play 4 matches in the North African Championship, against the teams of Tunisia, Morocco, Libya and Algeria, on March 27, March 30, April 2 and April 5, respectively.
