Israeli Channel 12 announced, citing sources, that Israel had struck dozens of regime targets in Iran.
Reuters, citing the Israeli Ministry of Defense, said that Israel launched a pre-emptive attack on Iran.
Reports of two new explosions in the Iranian capital were also confirmed, and the Israeli Home Front announced that sirens were sounding throughout Israel.
In a related context, the Israeli army announced the closure of schools in Israel, informing Israelis to work from home, and banning public gatherings.
