The competent authorities decided to renew the imprisonment of two content creators on charges of publishing video clips on their pages that included them dancing in an indecent manner, inconsistent with societal values, for 15 days pending investigation.
Two content creators were imprisoned in Giza on charges of publishing indecent videos
The General Administration for the Protection of Morals in the Specialized Police Sector monitored two content makers posting video clips on their social media pages that included them dancing in an indecent manner that is inconsistent with societal values.
After codifying the procedures, the two mentioned individuals were arrested while they were in the 3rd of October Police Department in Giza, and they were in possession of 4 mobile phones. “When they were examined, it was found that they contained evidence confirming their criminal activity.”
When confronted, they admitted to publishing the aforementioned video clips on their social media pages to increase viewing rates and achieve financial profits, and legal measures were taken.
