This morning, Governor of the New Valley, Hanan Magdy, opened the charity exhibition “Humanity brings us together… and joy makes them happy,” organized by the Egyptian Red Crescent Society on the occasion of World Orphan Day, in the presence of Major General Yasser Kamal El-Din, head of the Kharga Center, Mohamed Mounir, Director General of Social Solidarity in the governorate, and a number of leaders, participants, and those organizing the exhibition.
During her inspection of the exhibition halls, the governor praised the quality of the exhibits, which include 9,000 pieces of ready-made clothing, furnishings and school tools, as part of a humanitarian initiative aimed at bringing joy to the souls of children and alleviating the burdens on the families most in need and most cared for.
Support the most needy groups
The governor stressed that organizing such events embodies the state’s general orientation towards supporting the most needy groups and strengthening protection and social care mechanisms, praising the role of civil society institutions, especially the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, as an active partner in implementing humanitarian and development initiatives.
