Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Governor of Giza, recently conducted a surprise field tour in the Nahia area in the city of Kerdasa to determine the state of public cleanliness and follow up on efforts to remove waste and deal with occupancy in the streets, in the middle of the night.

During the tour, the governor met with a number of citizens and listened to their complaints and suggestions regarding the level of services provided, stressing the keenness to maintain a continuous field presence and respond immediately to any reports or observations in a way that contributes to improving the level of cleanliness and restoring discipline to the street.

The governor stressed the speedy removal of waste collection spots that were monitored during the tour, directing the executive agencies to deal immediately with them and prevent their recurrence with periodic follow-up to ensure the sustainability of the level of cleanliness in residential areas, stressing that the level of cleanliness reflects the efficiency of executive performance and that any negligence will be dealt with firmly.

The governor also directed the intensification of work teams and raising the efficiency of performance before and after iftar during the month of Ramadan to ensure the preservation of the civilized appearance and meeting the needs of citizens throughout the day.
