Major General Abdullah Abdel Aziz, Governor of Beni Suef, directed to raise the level of preparedness in all sectors and executive agencies in the governorate, coinciding with the approaching celebrations of Easter and the Spring and Sham El-Nessim holidays, stressing the necessity of activating the approved action plan during holidays and events to ensure the regularity of services provided to citizens.
The Governor assigned Dr. Bilal Habash, Deputy Governor, and Mr. Kamel Ali Ghattas, Assistant Secretary-General, to follow up on the implementation of the preparations plan on the ground, and to ensure the readiness of the various sectors, each within the scope of its jurisdiction, while achieving the highest levels of coordination and integration among the concerned authorities.
The governor stressed to city leaders and cleaning project officials the necessity of intensifying cleaning and beautification work, and removing waste periodically, especially in gardens, public parks, squares, and main streets, while raising the efficiency of those sites to receive citizens during the festive period, increasing work rates during peak times, and immediately dealing with any accumulations of garbage.
The governor also stressed the importance of activating emergency plans in all sectors, and regular 24-hour shift work, ensuring the readiness of technical crews and the availability of equipment, and identifying job alternatives to ensure the continuity of efficient service provision.
He pointed out the necessity of activating the main and subsidiary operations rooms and linking them around the clock, to receive citizens’ complaints and deal with them immediately, ensuring a rapid response to any emergency and maintaining the level of services during the days of celebrations.
