Major General Abdullah Abdel Aziz, Governor of Beni Suef, directed the weekly citizen service meeting to discuss complaints and requests submitted by people in various service sectors, in the presence of specialists from undersecretaries and executive officials.

During the meeting, the governor discussed a complaint filed by a number of residents of the village of Minyat Al-Jaid in the Biba center, in which they were harmed by the failure to provide drinking water service to their homes located in the Mutkhalat area.

Immediately, the governor assigned the officials of the local unit and the drinking water and sanitation sector from the company and the competent authority to take the necessary measures, as citizens were directed to submit an official request to the water company to prepare an estimated assessment of the cost of delivery, in preparation for coordination with one of the civil associations to assign the delivery work to it.

The governor also discussed a request submitted by the people of the village of Sinur, east of the Nile, regarding the construction of an industrial speed bump at the entrance to the village, and the establishment of a parking lot next to the youth center.

The governor directed the relevant officials from the Roads Authority and the local unit to create a temporary speed bump and provide the village entrance with signs and information boards to reduce accidents and achieve traffic flow.

Regarding the situation, a plot of land was provided for its residence, to be implemented within the projects of the second phase of the Presidential Initiative for a Decent Life in the villages of the center, including the village of Sanur.

The meeting also witnessed the discussion of a number of demands in the sectors of health, education, and social protection, and the necessary measures were taken regarding them, within the framework of the governorate’s keenness to respond immediately to citizens’ complaints and reduce the burdens on them.
