Engineer Amr Lashin, Governor of Aswan, intervened to provide full medical and therapeutic care for the child, Rodina Sayed Hassan (9 years old), in the third grade of primary school, after she was exposed to an accident in which she fell into one of the sewage kitchens in the Old Shader area, next to the drinking water and sewage company’s garage.

The child was injured after falling inside the Mutabbaq. She was immediately recovered and taken to the hospital to receive the necessary first aid and treatment. It was found that she had a fracture in her thigh, knee, and upper jaw. Doctors confirmed that her health condition was stable, and she was released and is undergoing the necessary care at her family’s home.

The Governor of Aswan directed that all the child’s needs of medicines and necessary treatment be provided, and that various medical capabilities be harnessed to care for her until she fully recovers.

Engineer Amr Lashin also assigned Dr. Walaa Saad Arafa, the governor’s advisor for development and community initiatives, to visit the child Rodina in her home, and convey his greetings and full support to her and her family, with an emphasis on meeting any of her demands or needs immediately.

In the same context, Engineer Amr Lashin issued instructions to the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company to quickly carry out the work of covering the kitchen where the accident occurred, while providing all necessary means of safety and protection, in addition to a comprehensive review of all kitchens in the region and working to cover and secure them, in order to preserve the safety of citizens from any damage, which was actually implemented immediately.
