Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Endowments began distributing 7,000 full Azhar uniforms to imams, as part of the Ministry of Endowments’ keenness to display imams with the appropriate Azhar appearance that combines beauty, dignity, and distinction.
The Ministry assigned the directors of the directorates to send their representatives to the Ministry’s general office to receive the uniforms, with the distribution to take place in the directorates starting Sunday, March 8, 2026, from nine in the morning until two in the afternoon, for a period of fifteen continuous days, with the preparation of an accurate plan for distribution to the sub-departments.
This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Endowments’ interest in providing the Al-Azhar uniform, which gives the imam an elegant appearance befitting his status, and reflects the civilized and honorable image of the imams and preachers in performing their preaching and national mission.
In another context, Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, said that Ramadan is the month of permanence and sustainability, and it is a source of spiritual and moral energy that continues with a person for the longest possible period, not being a temporary state that ends with the end of the month.
The Minister of Endowments also cited a noble prophetic hadith: Ramadan to Ramadan, Friday to Friday, and prayer to prayer, are expiations for what is between them if the major sins are avoided. God wants from us constant vigor, positivity, good manners, open-heartedness, and benevolence in words and deeds.
