The Directorate of Supply in Qalyubia intensified its monitoring campaigns on bakeries and commercial activities in the governorate, within the framework of the directives of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply, and Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Qalyubia, and in implementation of the instructions of Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry – Director of the Directorate of Supply in Qalyubia, and with the follow-up of Engineer Amal Abdel Qawi – Undersecretary of the Directorate.
The campaigns, which included the districts of (Kafr Shukr – the center and city of Banha – the East Shubra El Kheima district – Toukh – the West Shubra El Kheima neighborhood – Al Qanater El Khayriyah) resulted in the issuance of 51 various ration violations, including: (bread that does not meet specifications – bread that is underweight – lack of a data plate – lack of clean kneading tools – lack of an operating list – not giving a cash register – lack of a record of visits – shortage and disposal of 4 bags of subsidized local flour. – Prices not announced – Closed during official working hours).
Dr. Tamer Salah confirmed that field follow-up continues daily to ensure the stability of markets and the provision of goods and subsidized bread of appropriate quality and quantities, stressing that immediate and deterrent legal measures will be taken against any violation that affects the rights of citizens.
