The Director of the Labor Directorate in Port Said, Iman Massad, visited the three injured in the road accident in the south of the governorate, to check on their health condition and provide them with the necessary support.
The visit included checking on an injured person working in a rubber workshop, a driver, and the assistant driver of the heavy transport vehicle that “ran over” a semi-truck that was carrying 18 fishing workers, all of whom were killed in the tragic accident…
During the visit, the Director of the Directorate confirmed conveying the Minister of Labor’s sympathy and condolences to the injured and the families of the victims, and emphasizing the speedy completion of the necessary medical and social reports, in preparation for taking urgent measures to disburse the stipulated subsidies from the central account for irregular workers, in implementation of the Ministry’s directives, and to alleviate the burdens of the families affected by this painful accident.
She stressed the continued daily follow-up of the condition of the injured, and full coordination with the concerned authorities to ensure rapid access to full support, within the framework of the social role of the Ministry of Labor, and its constant keenness to care for workers and their families in such exceptional circumstances.
