Saeed Attia, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Giza Governorate, directed the necessity of launching immediate and intensive remedial programs for students with poor reading and writing, with the aim of raising their level and improving their basic skills, stressing the importance of quickly dealing with any shortcomings in academic achievement.

In a statement, the Undersecretary stressed the activation of classroom assessments on a regular basis, as a major tool for measuring the actual level of students’ achievement, ensuring accurate monitoring of their educational levels.

He also stressed the need to activate the role of the social and psychological worker within schools, to contribute to evaluating student behavior and enhancing discipline, in addition to intensifying the presence of supervisors in the corridors and playgrounds, to ensure a safe educational environment for all students.
