The administration of Qena General Hospital mourns, through its Facebook account, the death of Dr. Abeer Abdel Shakour, a resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology at the hospital, who passed away following a car accident while she was on her way to participate in an obstetrics and gynecology conference in Hurghada.

The hospital administration extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased and her colleagues in the hospital, asking God to cover her with His vast mercy, dwell her in His spacious gardens, and to inspire her family with patience and solace.
The administration also wishes a speedy recovery to the colleagues injured in the accident, all of whom are hospital doctors, including: Dr. Hassan Eid – resident doctor in obstetrics and gynecology – and the doctor’s family, who was among the injured, and Dr. Reem Muhammad – resident doctor, praying to God to grant them all a speedy recovery and return them to their families and their jobs safe and sound.
