The Acting Professions Syndicate mourned the great artist Yasser Sadiq, who passed away a few hours ago, after a long artistic career during which he presented many works that left a clear mark on the artistic scene.

The union confirmed, in an official statement, that the artistic community has lost one of its loyal sons, praising his known kindness, respect for his colleagues, commitment and dedication to his work, in addition to his calm presence and kind spirit that made him appreciated and loved by everyone who dealt with him.
The union extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased and his lovers, calling on the Almighty God to cover him with his vast mercy, and to inspire his family with patience and solace.
The artist Yasser Sadiq died a short while ago after a struggle with illness and being admitted to one of the major hospitals in Cairo.
According to exclusive statements to Cairo 24, sources confirmed that the artist was suffering from a tumor spreading in several parts of his body, which required his admission to the intensive care room in one of the major hospitals in Cairo.
The source indicated that his medical team began radiation sessions to try to control the disease, and closely monitored his medical condition after he left the hospital, but his condition suddenly deteriorated and he died.
The works of Yasser Sadiq
In another context, the artist Yasser Sadiq previously spoke about his lack of artistic participation, as he confirmed that he was suffering from a health crisis that forced him to stay at home to receive appropriate treatment, in addition to his work in managing the National Theater Festival, which is one of the reasons for his delay in his artistic career.
Yasser Sadiq said in his interview with Cairo 24 during the last period: When I first came to retirement, I suffered from a very severe health crisis, and thank God I am currently in the recovery phase. Also, my work in managing the National Theater took up my time, and I very much regretted that the artist’s future lies in his work and presenting artistic works, and God willing, in the coming period, I will participate in works to compensate for the absence.
