The General Authority of Meteorology announced details of the expected weather conditions tomorrow, Wednesday, January 14, 2026, indicating a slight drop in temperatures in most parts of the Republic, with extremely cold conditions continuing during the night and early morning periods.
Weather forecast tomorrow, Wednesday
As for the weather tomorrow, Wednesday, the forecast showed that the weather will be very cold in the early morning, tending to cold during the day in most regions, while tending to be warm in southern Upper Egypt, and returning to being very cold at night in most regions, with frost forming on crops in northern Upper Egypt, central Sinai, and the Western Desert.
The Meteorological Authority expected the country to witness a number of weather phenomena, the most notable of which is the formation of water mist from 3 a.m. to 10 a.m. on agricultural and highway roads near bodies of water, especially the roads leading to and from the north of the country, Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai, and it may be dense at times.
With chances of moderate rain, which may be heavy and thundery at times, in areas of Alexandria, northern Lower Egypt, and the northeastern coasts at intermittent intervals.
Light to moderate rain in areas of Matrouh, and light in southern Lower Egypt and the canal cities, and weak chances of light rain falling with an incidence of up to 20% in some areas of Greater Cairo, and active winds in all parts, and may cause sand and dust in some areas.
The case of Bahrain
Meteorology indicated that the condition of the Mediterranean Sea will be very turbulent, with waves ranging between 3.5 and 5.5 meters high, and the wind direction is southwesterly to northwesterly.
As for the Red Sea, its condition will be moderate to turbulent, with waves rising from 2 to 3 meters, with northwesterly winds.
The Meteorological Authority called on citizens to be careful while driving during fog periods, to wear heavy clothing, especially during the night and early morning hours, and to follow weather forecasts immediately.
