The numerical counting of voters’ votes in the Bar Association by-elections in Beni Suef Governorate revealed that Tariq Abdel Azim won the position of ‘Captain’, while Mohamed Meligy succeeded in the youth seat.
The results also resulted in the victory of Jamal Rabie Bandar Beni Suef, Ahmed Shaaban Al-Jamil in the Beni Suef Center, Ahmed Al-Issawi in the Nasser Center, Ibrahim Sharaqi in the Ahnasia Center, Muhammad Farouk in the Biba Center, Ahmed Makin in the Samasta Center, Ayman Abdel Razek in the Al-Fashn Center, and Muhammad Jadallah in the Al-Wasta Center.
The Beni Suef Bar Association by-elections witnessed competition between 37 candidates for the Bar Association seats. The elections were held under judicial supervision, amid a heavy turnout from members of the General Assembly to choose a new council for the Bar Association, within the governorates of the first phase, which includes 18 governorates.
Members of the Bar Association in Beni Suef Governorate were keen to participate in the voting process immediately after the start of the voting process and until the last minutes of the closing of the ballot on Saturday evening.
