Dr. Mustafa Al-Muniri, head of the club’s medical staff, revealed PyramidsOn the health condition of Mohamed Hamdy, the team’s left back, after he was injured during the Petrojet match in the quarter-finals of the Egypt Cup.

Al-Muneiri explained, in statements, that Hamdi fell in a joint ball and was exposed to a state of fainting and swallowing his tongue. Medical intervention was carried out quickly, and the tongue was lifted and returned to its normal place, with the player recovering from fainting through the medical protocol applicable in such cases.

He added that the player was transferred after strict medical procedures to the air hospital near Petrosport Stadium, to undergo examinations and further medical procedures, noting that Mohamed Hamdi’s condition was reassuring and the player was fully aware the moment he left the field to the hospital.
