The directors of departments in the South Sinai Endowments Directorate received delegations from the church in a number of cities in the governorate, in order to extend congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
An important opportunity to promote the values of tolerance and coexistence
The church delegation expressed its sincere congratulations on this occasion, stressing the depth of relations between Muslims and Christians, and that the holidays represent an important opportunity to enhance the values of tolerance and coexistence, and consolidate the bonds of national unity.
For its part, the Endowment leaders welcomed the visit, praising this kind gesture that reflects the strength of the Egyptian national fabric, and that society is based on mutual respect and constructive cooperation among all its members.
At the conclusion of the visit, the importance of continuing these meetings that support the values of societal peace and enhance the meanings of human brotherhood among the various sectors of the Egyptian people was emphasized.
