He added: Although I do not prefer to talk about arbitration, I see that Smouha was deprived of a completely clear penalty kick, and I believe that the team was affected by the consequences and atmosphere of Al-Ahly’s previous match against Ceramica Cleopatra, which led to us being deprived of our right to the penalty kick today.
The technical director of Smouha continued: We were aware of the difficulty of the confrontation, especially since Al-Ahly entered the match with very great motivation to compensate for its absence of victories in the last 4 matches, which made the match characterized by extreme competition.
Abdel Aziz explained the position of the administrative team, saying: We succeeded in achieving our primary goal of qualifying for the coronation group, and the club management gratefully renewed my contract before reaching this stage, which reflects the extent of stability and mutual trust.
