A criminal element was killed and the rest of the members of a criminal center were arrested in Beni Suef

Information and investigations from the (Public Security – Combating Unlicensed Drugs, Weapons and Ammunition) sectors, in coordination with the relevant ministry agencies, confirmed that criminal hotspots in a number of governorates, including high-risk criminal elements, brought in quantities of narcotic drugs and unlicensed firearms in preparation for trafficking in them.

Following the legalization of the procedures, they were targeted with the participation of the Central Security Sector. The interaction resulted in the death of a very dangerous criminal element who was sentenced to imprisonment and life imprisonment for the felonies of “attempted murder – drug trafficking – weapons without a license” within the Beni Suef Governorate, and the rest of the elements of those hotspots were arrested.

They were seized with approximately 660 kilograms of various narcotic substances (“hashish, ice, shabu, hydro, heroin”), a quantity of narcotic pills, and 58 firearms (14 automatic rifles, 21 shotguns, 22 shotguns, and a drum).

The financial value of the seized narcotics is estimated at more than 73 million pounds, and legal measures have been taken.

This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior continuing to direct pre-emptive strikes against criminal hotspots and traffickers of narcotic drugs and unlicensed firearms.
