Shirts: Al-Mokawloon’s canceled goal is correct, and the arbitration errors affected us

Sami Qamis confirmed in the press conference after the match that the goal scored by Al-Mokawloon and canceled was correct from his point of view after seeing the shot more than once. He explained that the timing of canceling the goal was sensitive, as the team was performing well and could have changed the course of the match, but he added that refereeing errors are possible and happen to everyone.

Regarding Karim Fouad’s injury and Ahmed Eid’s participation, Shims explained that Eid is a distinguished right back and is on the Egyptian national team’s roster. He was not a comfortable change for the Arab Contractors as was reported, but rather maintained the strength of Al-Ahly’s right front.

The fact that he deliberately changed the match balls against Al-Ahly

Sami Qamsar responded to the controversy surrounding the type of balls used in the match, stressing that the balls were the ones given to the club by the Egyptian Football Association and not special balls, explaining that the issue was not intentional, and the evidence is the referee’s approval to play with them, pointing out that Al-Ahly scored their goals with the same balls, and described the accusations of intentionality as old actions that have no scope now, and that they are purely administrative matters.

Responding to accusations of sympathy for former Al-Ahly coaches

The technical director of the Arab Contractors denied rumors that the Al-Ahly coaches deliberately sympathized with their former team when confronting them. Shirts said: We fought until the last minute, and if there had been sympathy, this would have appeared with the young players in previous matches such as the League Cup.

He stressed that his team played with honor and provided a strong second half and was the party that most threatened the goal and created chances.
