One of the cars of train No. 544 heading from Tanta to Cairo derailed a short while ago while it was at the Hamoul station in Menoufia Governorate, without any injuries among the passengers.
No injuries
A source confirmed that the accident did not result in human casualties, as emergency teams were sent to the site to immediately deal with the situation and take the necessary measures.
The source added that work is underway to lift the carriage that came off the tracks and return it to its normal track, while ensuring the movement of trains and taking the necessary safety measures to ensure regular operation and that flights are not affected.
