Alam Al-Rum main street, near Al-Huda Private School in Matrouh Governorate, is witnessing a severe health and environmental crisis as a result of the accumulation of sewage water in the area.
Residents reported that the place had become a swamp, filled with unpleasant odors, causing severe suffering to residents and students of the nearby school.
The residents indicated that they had filed several complaints and requests for help to the officials of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, but their attempts have been ignored so far, without any intervention to remove the water accumulation and improve the environmental and health situation in the area.
Residents demand rapid intervention and an urgent solution to this crisis before the health and environmental damage to families and students worsens.
