The governorate’s executive bodies continued Port Said Its intensive campaigns, within the framework of implementing the 28th wave to remove encroachments on state lands.
On the second day, the removal of 17 cases of encroachment on the Bahr al-Baqar drain and the 2 Sarhan drain was carried out, on a total area of 17,150 square metres.
The campaign was led by Ahmed Zaghlaf, head of the South District, and with the participation of the security forces, the Directorate of Agriculture, and all concerned parties, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to preserve state lands and waterways, prevent encroachments in all their forms, and take the necessary legal measures against violators.

The competent authorities confirmed that the 28th wave will continue during the period from January 10, 2026 until March 27, 2026, in three stages, in coordination with the State Lands Recovery Committee, the security directorates, and the relevant state authorities, with an emphasis on not tolerating any new infringements, in order to preserve the state’s right and achieve the public interest.
