Major General Muhammad Alwan, Governor, announced AssiutImplementing the removal of 26 cases of encroachment on agricultural lands and state property in a number of governorate centers, within the framework of the campaigns of the third phase of the 28th wave to remove encroachments, which will continue until March 27, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership, to preserve the agricultural land, restore state rights, and decisively confront all forms of encroachment.

Encroachment removal campaigns

The governor explained that the campaigns targeted the centers of Al-Fath, Manfalut, and Abnoub, in addition to the western neighborhood of Assiut, and resulted in the recovery of 1,173 square meters of illegal buildings, in addition to 10 shares of agricultural land, within the framework of complete coordination between local units, law enforcement agencies, and concerned authorities.

He pointed out that the campaigns witnessed the implementation of the removal of 23 cases of encroachment on state-owned lands (Nile Protection) and violations of spatial variables in the Abnoub center, in addition to the removal of a case considered to be in the Manfalut center, and another on agricultural lands in the Fath center, in addition to the removal of a case of encroachment within the West Assiut neighborhood.

The Governor of Assiut affirmed the continuation of the state’s efforts to restore its rights without complacency, while intensifying daily field follow-up to prevent the return of violations again, especially with the approaching end of the third phase of the current wave, stressing the continuation of campaigns in all centers and cities of the governorate, and taking deterrent legal measures against violators, in a way that consolidates the rule of law and preserves the capabilities of the state.

The governor also renewed his call on citizens to cooperate with executive agencies and immediately report any violations or violations, through the governorate’s operations room hotline (114) around the clock, in addition to the unified government complaints system number (16528) affiliated with the Council of Ministers.
