During the past 24 hours, Port Said Governorate witnessed important events, as Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the South Port Said Industrial Zone, in the presence of Major General Mohamed Bassala, Director of the Industrial Zone, and a number of executive leaders and investors. The meeting discussed developing the work environment and reviewing the latest developments in new industrial projects and production and export rates, stressing the provision of all facilities to serious investors to support industrial activity, attract investments, and create new job opportunities.
Port Said x 24 hours | The Governor of Port Said follows up on the industry and campaigns on the markets… and the removal and development of the streets in the Al-Zohour district
The executive agencies in the South District carried out the removal of two houses under construction in violation of the law and trespassing on agricultural lands in the Al-Ikhlas Agricultural Society area, under the leadership of Mr. Ahmed Zaghlaf, head of the South District, and with the participation of the Directorate of Agriculture and the concerned authorities, where the immediate removal was carried out and the necessary legal measures were taken against the violators, in confirmation of the continued confrontation of all forms of illegal construction and the preservation of the agricultural area.
Major General Ayman Sobhi Qalini, head of the Al-Zohour district, headed a massive monitoring campaign on markets and outlets selling food commodities and meat, in coordination with the National Food Safety Authority and the Consumer Protection Agency. The campaign resulted in the seizure and destruction of 20 kilograms of food products with variable natural properties, including chicken, potato chips, and liver, with a warning to establishment owners to quickly fulfill health requirements, in preparation for welcoming the holy month of Ramadan and to preserve the health of citizens.
Major General Amr Fikry, Secretary-General of Port Said Governorate, accompanied by Major General Ayman Sobhi, Head of the Al-Zohour District, and Representative Ahmed Farghaly, a member of the House of Representatives, inspected the launch of the development work on Mohamed Riad Street and the second phase of the development of the Ali bin Abi Talib area, where he officially announced the start of the work as part of an expanded plan to develop and raise the efficiency of the streets, stressing that the Al-Zohour District has the largest share of development work during the current period, including paving, lighting, and drainage.
As part of the work of Wave 28, the Port Said Agriculture Directorate carried out the removal of 3 cases of building encroachment on agricultural lands in the Al-Ikhlas Association with a total area of 404 square meters, under the supervision of the Land Protection Department and in coordination with the South District and the security forces, while taking all legal measures to prevent the recurrence of violations and hold the trespassers accountable.
