Dr. Ismail Al-Arabi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the Red Sea, announced that all hospitals and medical service provision outlets affiliated with the Directorate of Health Affairs in the Red Sea have raised the maximum level of readiness, as part of preparations to receive the blessed Eid Al-Fitr.

“Confirmed”ArabicThe main emergency room has been formed to operate around the clock during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, to follow up on any emergency and coordinate with all health departments to take the necessary measures to ensure the provision of integrated medical services during the Eid al-Fitr period, stressing the readiness of the medical teams and continuous coordination with the concerned authorities to ensure the safety of citizens and those frequenting the Red Sea Governorate during the Eid al-Fitr celebration period.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the Red Sea stated in a statement to Cairo 24 that shifts in the emergency, intensive care, incubators and anesthesia departments have been intensified, while ensuring the presence of specialist doctors in all vital specialties, and ensuring the availability of medicines, medical supplies, bags of blood and its derivatives in double quantities, in addition to securing the strategic stock of serums and vaccines needed for emergency cases.
He also explained that emergency teams were formed and medical insurance teams and presidential initiatives were deployed throughout the governorate, to ensure the provision of medical and awareness services to citizens in places of gatherings and celebrations.
The Directorate stressed the intensification of monitoring campaigns on food trading places, tourist villages, parks, and public beaches, in addition to campaigns to combat disease vectors.
