The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced in a statement a short while ago, banning the use, operation or launch Drones (Drones) of various types, sizes and technologies in all regions of the country, for any reason, until further notice.
Prohibiting the use, operation or launching of drones
The Ministry indicated in a statement that the ban includes citizens, residents, visitors, governmental and semi-governmental agencies, companies and institutions, and others. The Ministry confirms that any use or attempt to operate or facilitate the operation of these aircraft is a clear violation that requires legal accountability and taking legal measures against violators, in accordance with applicable legislation.
The Ministry of Interior stresses the importance of everyone’s commitment to staying in homes and buildings and not going out except when absolutely necessary, while adhering to the official instructions issued by the competent authorities, in order to preserve public safety.
