Mounted Qalyubia Supply Directorate Sudden oversight campaigns on bakeries, commercial and catering activities, and butane warehouses, within the framework of the directives of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Engineer Hossam Abdel Fattah, Governor of Qalyubia, to intensify monitoring campaigns on markets, and in implementation of strict instructions from Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Qalyubia.

A stove warehouse was seized for disposing of 300 domestic gas cylinders in Qalyoub

The campaigns carried out today in the areas of Qalyoub, Qanater Charitable Centres, and the East Shubra El Kheima neighborhood resulted in the arrest of a number of catering violations, most notably the issuance of a misdemeanor report against a stove warehouse in the Zawiyat al-Najjar district of Qalyoub for disposing of 300 household gas cylinders in violation of the law.

13 catering violations were also issued against municipal bakeries, ranging from producing underweight bread, producing bread that does not conform to specifications, not having an operating menu, closing during official working hours without prior permission, not having a record of visits by inspectors, not cleaning kneading tools, and not giving cash to citizens.
The campaigns also included issuing a misdemeanor report against a gas warehouse for closing during official working hours without prior permission, in addition to 6 misdemeanor reports against tourist bakeries for not announcing prices and practicing the activity without a license, and 5 misdemeanor reports against French bakeries for not announcing prices and conducting the activity without a license, in addition to another misdemeanor report against a French bakery for not announcing prices.

The Qalyubia Supply Directorate confirmed the continuation of intensive ration campaigns on markets, bakeries, and gas depots in all centers and villages of the governorate, to control ration violations, protect citizens, and deter violators.
