I witnessed Port Said Governorate During the past 24 hours, there has been intense activity at the level of the neighborhoods and the city of Port Fouad, as the executive agencies continued their field campaigns to implement the decisions of the Council of Ministers regarding closing times, in addition to raising the efficiency of services and achieving discipline in the streets, in parallel with the governor’s continued field tours to follow up on service and development projects.

And I witnessed Port Fouad city Implementing immediate closure and waxing decisions for a number of violating shops, while continuing to rationalize electricity consumption, while the Arab neighborhood intensified its tours of vital streets to ensure adherence to official deadlines, coinciding with expanded campaigns in the East neighborhood to lift occupancy and restore discipline, in addition to tours of the Suburban neighborhood to follow up on the implementation of closure decisions, and the continuation of collection campaigns in the Al-Manakh neighborhood, and intensive cleaning campaigns in the Al-Zuhur neighborhood in response to citizens’ complaints.
Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Port Said, inspected a number of service projects, where he followed up on the work of developing residential areas in the Manakh neighborhood and the suburbs, and directed to raise the efficiency of infrastructure and improve the level of services. He also followed up on the construction of a new road linking the old and new Al-Nasr Bridge to achieve traffic flow, in addition to following up on the development of the surrounding areas with landscaping works and modern lighting.
The governor added the intensive preparations to welcome the spring holidays, as he inspected the Corniche, the beach, and the beach park, and directed to raise the efficiency of cleaning and remove occupancy, stressing the need to appear in a decent, civilized appearance, while intensifying efforts to prepare parks to receive citizens.
The tours also included following up on the work of developing the health system, receiving service leaders and discussing ways of cooperation, in addition to following up on campaigns to deal with stray dogs according to humane methods, developing markets and investment areas, as well as continuing public meetings to solve citizens’ problems directly.
In the sports sector, the Governor of Port Said followed up on the work of preparing the new Al-Masry Club Stadium, where the stadium floor is being finished in preparation for planting natural grass, in parallel with the completion of connecting the facilities of electricity and sanitation, after the completion of water and communications, in a way that supports the readiness of the project according to the latest standards.
